INFORMATION ASSURANCE FOR THE NETWORK OPERATIONS CENTER  

The Navy's Fleet Network Operations Centers (FLTNOCs) provide a regional gateway from the various communication systems supporting ships to the Defense Information Systems Network. The FLTNOCs provide a number of critical IP services to the deployed fleet in each of their respective areas of responsibility. The expansion of the FLTNOC capabilities was designed to protect against hostile intrusion by installing, integrating, and testing infrastructure upgrades concurrently with the information security architecture. 

SRC helps engineer and design the FLTNOCs' infrastructure for shore and deployed units. SRC engineers test the system at various stages along the production path, investigating load testing, security, and firewalls. Once the systems are installed, SRC helps lend support to the war fighter who uses the FLTNOC.
