The Simulation, Test & Instrumentation (STI) division is engaged in the application of
advanced technologies, engineering services, and real-time software in the areas of Radar
Instrumentation and Training Systems, Information Technology, Modeling & Simulation, and
Test & Evaluation (T&E) Services. These innovative products and services are used to
provide flexibility in meeting our customers' current requirements and to implement future
enhancements with minimal cost.
The STI team professionals are highly skilled in the design, development, and integration
of systems and subsystems that yield rapid prototype solutions worldwide for both military and
commercial customers.

Modeling & Simulation - A full spectrum of high-fidelity, man-in-the-loop integrated system simulations of Threat Weapon Systems and Surface-to-Air Missile
Systems to support realistic T&E and operational training. These HLA/TENA compliant simulations are capable of supporting distributed, real-time operations including ECM/ECCM evaluations.
Information Technology - Support of the Air Force Distributed Mission Operation Center. This facility possesses the largest operator-in-the-loop simulation capabilities in the world. Systems under SRC management include F-15 cockpit simulators, AWACS mockups, JSTARS simulators, Patriot missile battery simulators, Joint Tactical Information Distribution System simulators, Army communications equipment simulations, and numerous mainframe computers.
T&E Services - Test concepts; detailed test plans, methodology and analysis plans; test execution staff; test analysis and reporting; and integration of resulting Concepts of Operation
and Tactics, Techniques and Procedures to warfighters. SRC has supported
15 Joint Feasibility Studies, 12 Joint Test and Evaluations,
and 3 Quick Reaction Tests for the Joint T&E Program over the past 10 years.
Radar Instrumentation & Training Systems -
Advanced digital signal processors, receivers, transmitters, and antennas for instrumentation radars and threat simulators. Product line includes an Advanced Radar Environmental Simulator
(ARES) capable of injections hundreds of realistic targets, clutter and ECM sources into a radar system under test (SUT). ARES can inject synthetic radar environment into the SUT digitally, at IF or RF. Signal generation and reception systems capable of producing synthetic radar environments.
Our innovative professionals consider the complete system life-cycle - initial assessment and planning, through implementation, testing, and support. Depending upon system requirements and budgetary constraints, commercially available components and non-developmental items can be integrated with existing systems to provide cost-effective solutions.
