The Multi-Spectral Stimulator (MSS) is portable, low cost,
scalable, and produces synchronous IR and RF outputs for either injection or projection stimulation of a multi-mode sensor system.
The MSS produces both the RF and IR spectral data and controls data flow from the scene generators to the Instrumentation Suite and the System Under Test (SUT); stimulating and recording in parallel. Feedback from the SUT Guidance and Control interfaces with the Scenario Controller. This closes the loop and provides an indicator of the required sensor position update, (i.e. the track error), which then modifies IR/RF scene generator parameters.
