The function of ASTRO’s Data Operations Pool contract is the performance of Data Operations including all data collection, processing, exploitation, and dissemination activities associated with manned, unmanned, and optionally manned platforms and robotics supporting mission performance. This includes traditional labor services as well as “as a service” support.

ASTRO spans many areas of expertise and includes any and all components required to formulate a total solution to a requirement, except for those services and products specifically prohibited in the contract. Solutions may include Ancillary Support Services and/or Ancillary Support Products and may call for solutions that cross over multiple disciplines using a variety of contract types. ASTRO may be used to provide a total solution for any organization’s requirement for platforms and robotics based on land, air, sea, and/or space within the Operations, Maintenance/Readiness, Development/Systems Integration, Support and/or Research and Development Domains.
