The function of ASTRO’s Development and Systems Integration Pool contract includes systems integration, improvement, and/or engineering associated with manned, unmanned, and optionally manned platforms.

ASTRO spans many areas of expertise and includes any and all components required to formulate a total solution to a requirement, except for those services and products specifically prohibited in the contract. Solutions may include Ancillary Support Services and/or Ancillary Support Products and may call for solutions that cross over multiple disciplines using a variety of contract types. ASTRO may be used to provide a total solution for any organization’s requirement for platforms and robotics based on land, air, sea, and/or space within the Operations, Maintenance/Readiness, Development/Systems Integration, Support and/or Research and Development Domains.
