The function of ASTRO’s Maritime Pool contract includes maintenance, repair, and overhaul of manned, optionally manned, and unmanned maritime platforms.

ASTRO spans many areas of expertise and includes any and all components required to formulate a total solution to a requirement, except for those services and products specifically prohibited in the contract. Solutions may include Ancillary Support Services and/or Ancillary Support Products and may call for solutions that cross over multiple disciplines using a variety of contract types. ASTRO may be used to provide a total solution for any organization’s requirement for sea-based platforms and robotics within the Operations, Maintenance/Readiness, Development/Systems Integration, Support and/or Research and Development Domains.
